2010 Wild Big Leaves [aged tea]

Origin: Jiulongchi, Anhua County, Hunan Province, China
Year of production: 2010
Quality: aged tea, wild tea, artisanal tea
Taste indications: camphor, dates, pine resin, rice pudding
Quantity: 10 grams manually taken from bamboo basket
Particularity: First intended to be compressed into logs of Huajuan Tea, these wild big leaves were eventually put into bamboo baskets like Tianjian Tea. They have developed the kind of ‘medicinal’ taste sometimes found in nicely aged teas.
